Greenhouse Academy Wiki

This time last year, I was one of those girls who had it all. A great family, an awesome boyfriend and a phenomenal school. But since then, my brother has lost his freedom, my dad lost his job, and I lost my boyfriend, not to mention, my best friend, my clubhouse and virtually anything that gave me a sense of hope. I was lost. I thought it was the worst year of my life. But now, I've realized that it is also the best year. I learned about the beauty of a fresh start. I learned the sense of accomplishment from overcoming adversity. I'm a year wiser today, and now I know that the world is much harsher than I was sheltered to believe. I know that some people can have a dark side. Even people you've known your whole life. But I also know that people can change, and as long as I don't lose my hope for humanity, I can make a difference. And making a difference is what this place is all about.
Brooke's speech about herself in The Client

Brooke Osmond, played by Grace Van Dien in Seasons 1 and 2 and Danika Yarosh in Seasons 3 and 4, is a member of The Eagles before transferring to The Ravens in Season 3.She is also the daughter of Greenhouse Academy headmaster; Louis Osmond and is one of the supporting characters in Greenhouse Academy. She is the American counterpart to Natalie Klein in The Greenhouse.

Appearance[]

Brooke Osmond is an American teenage girl with pale skin and long, blonde, wavy hair and blue eyes. Brooke has been seen wearing a variety of different outfits throughout Season 1 and Season 2, but some of her main ones include, a golden yellow vest and black tracksuit bottoms, as well as her black and white Eagles cheerleader outfit. After she switched into the Raven's house, she began sporting clothes in Raven colors, including a striped red and white sleeve-less shirt and blue jeans.

Personality[]

Brooke is a lively and charming member of the Eagles. She is outspoken and independent, for example, after Daniel referred to her as “his girl” she responded with “I’m not anyone’s girl!”. She can be mean (occasionally), shown when interacting with Hayley and slamming the door in her face when she was looking for Alex. She, along with the others, also made fun of Alex when he first joined the Eagles, but she warmed up to him and eventually shared a kiss with him which lead to her currently dating him, ever since she introduced herself to Alex's parents as "his girlfriend". She is a loyal friend and teammate, and part of the cheer squad. Moreover, she is kind and compassionate to those she loves.

Brooke is also curious, never too shy, and never backs away from anything, she is one of the first people to discover that there was something weird going on in the Greenhouse, and set out to find out what it was, which resulted in her getting herself in trouble, and in season 2, it also gets her hypnotized by Marcus and Judy. Her personality could be described as a “shoot first, ask questions later” type.

In season 3 of GHA, Brooke starts to become more sheltered and she doesn't trust anyone. She becomes untrustworthy to everyone, including her own friends, Sophie and Alex.

After failing, she notices a set of keys in a box and she opens them up. In true Osmond fashion, she grabs the key that correlates with Daniel's locker and uses it to break into his locker. She in turn fails as Daniel walks in. She tries to shrug it off and Daniel notices nothing wrong. Brooke then goes into his locker again to find a bottle of medicine.

Sophie then points out that the woman Brooke was talking about was indeed Daniel's mother; Judy. Brooke then conveys that she was worried for her boyfriend, due to this fact. Sophie then points out that her friend had been so stressed and tells her that she needed to stop worrying the ordeal, mentioning to Brooke that as she was her captain, she should listen to her. Brooke then admits that Sophie had been right, being that it was her friend's first day as captain of the Eagles and that she had been there conspiracy theorizing. However, once Sophie had gone, Brooke takes out her Louie and looks up the causes of a car engine fire. After inputting her search via voice-command, a page of search-related images are brought up, to which Brooke flicks through. Brooke then sees Daniel, which causes her to shut down her Louie. Brooke then thanks Alex for doing so, adding that that was sweet of Alex to do so. Alex then asks whether that had been where she saw Marcus, with Brooke nodding her head. Louis asks the two of them what they were doing in the area in the first place, as they knew there was a curfew. The two then stutter, as Brooke says that she had seen a flickering light and that she was curious. However, Louis then asks why she didn't just go to him, instead of wandering round in the dark. Brooke tries to cover up, by saying that she hadn't wanted to bother her father, which only causes Louis further annoyance, with him exclaiming that she could of been killed by the lunatic park ranger. Brooke then apologizes for her miss-actions, before Eric mentions that it'd be better if they called him the next time something like that happened, handing Alex a card with his direct line number on, telling Alex not to hesitate to call. Brooke then assures Alex that she hadn't known. In the clubhouse, Alex and Brooke arrive to find Daniel, who tells them that he had heard about the incident, thanking Alex for what he did for Brooke. Alex, in response tells him that it was no problem. There is then an awkward silence between the three, as Alex continues towards the clubhouse. Brooke, then says that that was what she had been saying, then realizing that Daniel was just mad at her because of the fact that she had accused his mother of the car accident. Brooke then thanks her friend, before asking Sophie about herself and Alex. Sophie then reveals that she had told Alex to ask her out, as a way of getting Daniel off of his back, then remarking that Alex wasn't afraid to be himself, adding that she that was pretty cool. Curious, Alex asks her whether she thought there was connection, as Brooke explains that it had all started when Daniel had found the park ranger's taser. Alex then says that even if Judy was responsible for getting Daniel off the hook, it still didn't explain why Judy had been there that night. Brooke then suggests that Judy had known about the park ranger that entire time, with Alex asking her what she meant. Brooke then says that it was possible that Judy wasn't trying to protect Daniel, but was instead trying to protect herself, then telling Alex that that had to be it. Brooke then agrees to do so, before thanking Alex for believing in her, then going in for a kiss. Alex then calls Eric who then asks Brooke, whether she'd mind going down to the station with him, as they could take her deposition.
